Victoria Galloway is an Identity Security Program Manager at Southern Company, where she leads enterprise identity strategy for
one of the nation’s largest energy and utility providers. She brings more than six years of experience building and leading identity and
access management (IAM) and identity governance programs at Fortune 50 scale, most recently at Boeing, where her work delivered
more than $4 million in cost savings, a 55 percent reduction in identity-related risk, and a 40 percent decrease in audit findings. Her
contributions there were recognized through selection into Boeing’s Leadership Next Program, along with multiple internal leadership and technical achievement awards between 2024 and 2025. She also held leadership roles within employee resource groups supporting community-building and career development for underrepresented professionals.
Victoria holds a Master of Information and Cybersecurity from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated in December 2020. While at Georgia Southern, she held leadership positions—including webmaster and engagement lead—across more than five student and professional organizations, including the Association of Information Technology Professionals and Women in Technology. These experiences laid an early foundation for the organizational leadership she has carried into every role since. At Berkeley,she served as a student representative in graduate leadership-development programming, becoming the first Black woman to hold that role and advocating for a diverse graduate-student population.
Beyond her corporate work, Victoria is the founder and chair of Lifted Hands Initiative, a nonprofit organization she built to advance STEAM education, cybersecurity awareness, workforce development, and digital inclusion, including programming that has brought cybersecurity education to more than 200 senior citizens. She is also the founder of Ballot IQ, a civic-technology platform currently in testing with users, designed to make election and ballot information more accessible through nonpartisan educational resources. Victoria has personally mentored more than 15 undergraduate and graduate students on cybersecurity careers, graduate education, and the transition from college into the workforce.
Victoria’s honors include being named to Georgia Southern University’s 2026 40 Under 40, receiving the 2024 Black Engineer of the Year Award as a Modern-Day Technology Leader, and being recognized with the 2024 Women of Color Technology Rising Star Award. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and CompTIA Security+ credential and is currently pursuing the CISSP.
Victoria lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to build at the intersection of cybersecurity leadership, entrepreneurship, and community impact. Her long-term goal is to use her career and platforms to create lasting opportunities for students and communities coming after her.
