Favour Ukpongson is a servant leader known for her warmth, contagious passion, positivity, attention to detail, and eloquence. A lifelong learner, she began her undergraduate studies at just 15 years old, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Medicine Biology with a minor in English from Georgia Southern University by the
age of 19 years old.
Favour’s professional journey began as a Medical Scribe at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, followed by a role as a Pharmacy Customer Service Advocate with OptumRx, UnitedHealth Group. These experiences deepened her commitment to improving healthcare systems and sparked her decision to pursue a Master’s Degree in Health Administration at Georgia State University. Currently, Favour serves as a Project Management Specialist with the ImproveCareNow team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). Prior to this role, she was a Quality Improvement Administrative Fellow at CCHMC’s James M. Anderson Center for Health System Excellence. During her fellowship, she supported the All Children Thrive initiative and contributed to the Office of Population Health’s PINQ and OAK Learning Networks.
Beyond her professional roles, Favour is an avid reader, self-proclaimed nerd, and creative chef who enjoys crafting recipes to bring people together. She is committed to fostering intentional relationships and lives by three guiding pillars: Service, Relationship, and Diversity.
