Born and raised in Gwinnett, Georgia, Destiny has always been driven to be a catalyst for change, inspired by the dedicated public servants who came before her. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in the fall of 2022 and soon after began her career as an intern in the office of Congressman Henry “Hank” Johnson (GA-04). She now serves as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of
Representatives, where she continues to advocate for impactful policy and equitable representation.
Beyond her work on Capitol Hill, Destiny remains deeply engaged in her community. She serves on the board of the Alumni Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and continues to use her platforms to uplift and support emerging professionals and future leaders.
