Cordero L. Curry is an economic and community development professional in metro Atlanta with more than ten years of experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector partnerships. His roots run through Talladega, Alabama, and his work centers on building stronger communities across the South.
Most recently, he served as Leadership Programs Assistant at the Atlanta Regional Commission, where he coordinated three regional leadership programs (MARC, LINK, and RLI) serving more than 100 elected officials, government leaders, senior executives, and high school students across the 11-county metro Atlanta region.
Cordero is also the founder of Urban Luxuries Group LLC, an emerging small business he runs end to end, from product and pricing to business-to-business outreach with boutiques across metro Atlanta and Alabama. He serves as Board Secretary for HouseProud Atlanta, a nonprofit focused on housing equity, where he manages board records and governance and contributes to strategic planning and community engagement.
He is completing a Master of Public Administration at Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, along with graduate certificates in Planning and Economic Development and in Public Management and Leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and an Associate of Applied Science in Marketing Management from Gwinnett Technical
College. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Planning Association.
His motto is simple: exceeding the standard is standard.
