Rebecca Baileys is the Event Coordinator for Eagle Dining Services at Georgia Southern University, where she brings creativity and energy to every event she plans. She enjoys finding new ways to connect students, alumni, and staff, turning gatherings into moments that truly bring the community together. Rebecca believes dining should be more than just food — her goal is to give each student a unique and meaningful experience every time they walk through the doors. Known for thinking ahead and solving problems on the fly, she makes sure each event runs smoothly and leaves a positive impression. She’s currently leading the development of an internship program aimed at mentoring and supporting students as they start their careers.
With a background in marketing and sales, Rebecca combines her strategic mindset with a passion for storytelling and authentic connection. She loves working with others and feeds off their ideas and energy to create fresh, engaging initiatives. Skilled at promoting events and collaborating across departments, she develops programs that not only draw people in but also build lasting relationships. Fast-paced environments energize her, and she thrives on turning challenges into opportunities to innovate and elevate the alumni experience.
Having been part of the Georgia Southern community for several years, Rebecca is dedicated to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and heard. She was once a student herself and is passionate about creating the experiences she wished she had during her time on campus. Her leadership style is rooted in authenticity, empathy, and collaboration, making her a natural advocate for student and alumni growth.
