Lauryn Sinclaire Pruitt is a certified Georgia educator dedicated to advancing educational equity, student success, and leadership development. She currently serves as an English Language Arts teacher with Fulton County Schools, where she creates engaging, student-centered learning experiences that foster academic achievement, critical thinking, and a
lifelong love of learning.
A proud Double Eagle, Lauryn earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. She also holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M University College of Law. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Administration at the University of Florida, where her research focuses on student belonging, engagement, and institutional
effectiveness.
Lauryn’s professional journey reflects the intersection of education, law, and leadership. Drawing on her background in legal education, educational policy, and higher education administration, she has developed expertise in compliance, student advocacy, and institutional policy. These experiences continue to shape her work as an educator and support her long-term goal of influencing educational policy and strengthening systems that promote student success.
Outside the classroom, Lauryn is committed to empowering others through education, service, and wellness. In addition to teaching middle school students, she serves as a group fitness instructor at Crunch Fitness, where she encourages individuals to build confidence, resilience, and healthy lifestyles. She is also a charter member of the National Council of Negro Women (South Fulton Chapter), a Teach For America Ignite Fellow, a volunteer with Girls of Excellence, Inc., mentoring young women, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Through each of these roles, she strives to make a meaningful impact both inside and outside the classroom.
