Jaylen King is a higher education professional dedicated to student success, university engagement, and community service. He has built his career around creating meaningful connections, supporting student opportunities, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen the relationship between individuals and institutions.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Georgia Southern University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Savannah State University. Throughout his professional journey, he has gained experience in recruitment, student engagement, leadership, and event coordination.
An active member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., he has held several leadership positions, including Chapter President, Academic Chair, and Social Media Chair. He currently serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Georgia Southern University undergraduate chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., where he supports the development, leadership, and success of student members.
He also established the Jaylen D. King Scholarship to support students pursuing higher education and create opportunities for future generations. Through his professional and community involvement, he remains committed to service, leadership, and making a positive impact within his university and the broader community.
