Kyra Larry is a passionate higher education professional, certified HR practitioner, and proud alumna of Georgia Southern University. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Experiential Learning in the Office of Career and Professional Development at Georgia Southern, where she leads university-wide initiatives to connect students with meaningful career opportunities through employer engagement, scholarship management, and
strategic programming.
Kyra earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology from Georgia Southern. She recently completed her Master of Education in Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia. During her time as an undergraduate, she was an active member of Delta Sigma Pi and served as the Vice President of Professional Activities.
A dedicated leader in campus and professional communities, Kyra currently advises the National Society of Black Engineers, chairs the Professional Development Committee for the Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers (GACE), and served as Secretary on Georgia Southern’s Staff Council Executive Committee during the 2023–2024 year. She also led the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group, launching signature events like “Grub Club” and “Sip ’n Tea” to foster community among early-career professionals.
