Denisa Wilson is the Assistant Manager of People Operations at Hospice Savannah, where she supports HR initiatives across clinical and administrative departments. With a background in human resources and healthcare operations, she is passionate about building systems that support people—whether it’s through onboarding, employee engagement, or long-term workforce development.
Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Denisa earned both her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and her Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. Her career path was shaped by hands-on experience in Savannah and Statesboro, including roles at Memorial Health, Georgia Southern’s Student Accessibility Resource Center, and the Office of Alumni Career Development. These experiences deepened not only her love for the healthcare administration field, but also her appreciation for the impact Georgia Southern has had on her professional and personal growth.
She is a proud double Eagle who credits Georgia Southern for giving her the foundation to thrive. She remains actively involved in the Georgia Southern community and is committed to helping others stay connected to the university that continues to shape her life. Through her involvement with the university, she hopes to pay forward the opportunities and support that Georgia Southern gave her—and help foster a strong, inclusive community for future generations of Eagles.
