Jansen Killian, a native of Vidalia, Georgia, graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University with her B.A. in Political Science and a minor Economics. Her undergraduate experience was marked by extensive leadership roles, including President of the Political Science Club and participation in the Southern Leaders and Southern Ambassadors programs.
After graduating in 2020, Jansen attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2024. During law school, Jansen was elected as the Student Bar Association Class President and competed on the mock trial team. She served in various impactful legal roles, including to work with Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns, the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Epps of the Southern District of Georgia.
Jansen currently practices at The Tillery Firm, P.C. in Vidalia, Georgia, where she focuses on general civil litigation and transactional matters. Outside of her legal career, she is actively involved in her church and local civic organizations. In her free time, Jansen enjoys traveling and cheering on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
