Career Accomplishments
Execution of my 5-Year Plan
One of the accomplishments I am most proud of is the intentional execution of a long-term vision I set early in my career. During my time in college, I outlined a five-year plan for both my professional and personal life. Within that timeframe, I successfully launched my career in investment banking in a front office capital markets role and built a foundation of leadership within my firm and community. While the path included challenges, I remained disciplined in pursuing those goals and ultimately achieved each of them, an experience that continues to shape how I set and execute on long-term objectives.
Progression to an Associate III role within the FRM team at Truist
Professionally, I have progressed to an Associate III role within the FRM team at Truist, where I have transitioned from a support-oriented position to taking a leading role in both transaction execution and origination efforts. I have contributed to transactions representing billions of dollars in deal volume, supporting complex client financing and risk management solutions. What I am most proud of is earning the trust to originate and lead transactions at an early stage in my career – responsibility that reflects both performance and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Commitment to Ongoing Education and Leadership
I am also proud of my commitment to ongoing education and leadership. I am currently a CFA Level II candidate, deepening my technical understanding of markets and investing while demonstrating discipline outside of work. In parallel, I have taken on leadership roles within my organization, including serving on the Junior Capital Markets Committee and Truist Securities Junior Council, where I have led mentorship and engagement initiatives designed to connect junior professionals with senior leadership and strengthen firm culture.
