Becoming an electrical engineer with Georgia Power

One of the major accomplishments I am most proud of is that after graduating from Georgia Southern, I became an electrical engineer with Georgia Power. Coming from a student athlete background, stepping into a role with that level of responsibility meant a lot to me. It gave me the opportunity to apply discipline, problem solving and professionalism in a real world setting, while working in an industry where precision, consistency and reliability matter. That experience helped shape the way I lead and operate to this day.

Building Waiters Capital, a company that has helped entrepreneurs access the capital they need to start, grow and scale their businesses.

Another accomplishment I am especially proud of is building Waiters Capital, a company that has helped entrepreneurs access the capital they need to start, grow and scale their businesses. What started as a vision while I was still working full time eventually grew into a business that has helped deploy millions in funding to small business owners. For me, that accomplishment represents more than business growth. It represents creating opportunity for people and helping others move closer to ownership and financial freedom.

The work I have done through Wealth Builders Academy and my broader community involvement in Las Vegas.

Through my academy, I have helped aspiring entrepreneurs learn how to build and grow their own funding companies. In addition, my involvement with the Urban Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas, the Leadership Foundation of Greater Las Vegas, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada and 100 Black Men of Las Vegas has allowed me to contribute to business education, leadership development, mentorship, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and community empowerment. That combination of business success and community impact is something I take great pride in.
