Career Accomplishments
Served as President of the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (GACRAO)
From 2022–2023, I served as President of the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (GACRAO), the state’s primary professional organization for enrollment management professionals. While I was fortunate to serve in several leadership roles within the organization, being selected as the youngest president in its recorded history is an accomplishment I’m especially proud of. In this role, I worked to support professional development opportunities and strengthen connections across institutions during a time of continued change in higher education.
Selected to chair Dry Run, a new professionals conference hosted by the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC)
In 2023, I was selected to chair Dry Run, a new professionals conference hosted by the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC). Over the course of a year, I led the planning and execution of the conference—developing the program, recruiting and coordinating faculty, and managing logistics in partnership with Georgia Southern University and SACAC. The conference welcomed hundreds of new admissions professionals and was recognized by the organization as one of its most organized and successful iterations. What I value most, however, is the lasting impact: I still connect with professionals who describe that experience as their introduction to the field and a meaningful starting point in their careers.
Building Clemson University’s Honors College first comprehensive recruitment strategy
Upon joining the Clemson University Honors College in the fall of 2024, I was tasked with building its first comprehensive recruitment strategy from the ground up. As the inaugural leader in this space, I developed a data-informed and student-centered approach that balanced the college’s academic rigor with clear, accessible messaging for prospective students and counselors. Despite the challenges of introducing recruitment within an academic unit, this work has led to two consecutive years of record application numbers and the enrollment of the most academically competitive class in the college’s history. During this time, the Honors College also rose to a #4 national ranking, an outcome that reflects the collective strength of the institution and the intentionality behind our efforts.
