During my time as Vice Chancellor for Advancement at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, I secured the lead naming gift for the Honors Program and helped guide its transition into a named College. This milestone represented both a transformational investment and a lasting enhancement to the academic profile of the institution.
Developing early career advancement professionals
I am especially proud of my investment in developing early career advancement professionals. Many individuals I have mentored have gone on to leadership and major gift roles at institutions such as the University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Illinois, University of Florida and Emory University. Seeing their success and knowing I played a role in their growth is one of the most meaningful aspects of my work.
