Will Byington is a seasoned professional in community engagement, government relations, and real estate development, currently serving as Director of Community Engagement, Government Relations & Real Estate at Atrium Health Floyd. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives focused on strengthening partnerships, advancing organizational priorities, and supporting community-centered growth across the region.
Will earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Georgia Southern University in 2001. While at Georgia Southern, he was also a student assistant of the university’s championship football program under legendary head coach Paul Johnson.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Will is deeply engaged in civic and leadership development efforts. He currently serves as the Chair of the Rome, Georgia Leadership Chapter, where he supports leadership cultivation, community collaboration, and regional engagement initiatives.
With a strong background in both public and private sector partnership building, Will brings a unique combination of athletic discipline, institutional pride, and professional expertise to his work and community leadership.
