Johnita Daniel is a highly accomplished planning professional with extensive expertise in
environmental planning, land use law, and military construction. She has successfully led the planning and execution of two major military construction projects totaling over $65 million and has overseen the restoration and development of 64 state and federal sites across Georgia. Her strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills continue to shape sustainable infrastructure planning throughout the region.

Ms. Daniel’s educational background reflects a deep commitment to both legal and
environmental planning disciplines. She holds a Master’s degree in the Study of Law from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she focused on land use, real estate, and
environmental law. She also earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Planning and Design from the University of Georgia’s College of Environment + Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Pre-Law focus from Georgia Southern University.

In 2023, Ms. Daniel was invited to speak as a Master Planner at the APA Federal Planning
Conference, sharing best practices with federal and military planners, as well as top architecture and planning firms. She was also nominated for recognition by the National Defense and Transportation Research Committee, a testament to her contributions to public sector planning and development.

Her academic and professional achievements, combined with her passion for strategic and
sustainable development, position her as a leader and innovator in her field.
