Emily Brannen
Title: Director of Health Services, Georgia Southern University
Bio:
33-year-old Emily is a proud Double Eagle from Georgia Southern University, serving as the Director of Health Services overseeing the health clinics on Statesboro, Armstrong and Liberty campuses. She lives with her husband, Josh, on their farm in Register. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Statesboro, volunteers with Thumbs Up Mission, and enjoys exploring her creative side through ceramics at the Averitt Center for the Arts.

Katie Nevil Abercrombie
Title: Manufacturing Engineer, Georgia-Pacific
Bio:
A Bulloch County native, 30-year-old Katie Abercrombie graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2017. She has since gone on to hold various leadership positions with Georgia-Pacific, overseeing the Savannah River Mill site. Katie is married to Justin Abercrombie, and they have two children: a son, Jude, and a daughter, Jane. They are proud members of Southbridge Community Church, where Katie serves in the children’s ministry.

Jamie Bohler

Family Nurse Practitioner, Ogeechee OB-GYN
Bio:
Jamie Bohler, 35, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Ogeechee OBGYN, where she provides comprehensive care to women across various stages of life. Born and raised in Statesboro, she began work on her undergraduate nursing degree at Georgia Southern University after attending Southeast Bulloch High School. Jamie and her husband, Mitchell, have two sons: Beckett, 9, and Bane, 4. Jamie is an active member of the Statesboro Service League. She is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized healthcare while supporting her patients’ well-being in both clinical and midwifery settings.

Kristen Clark
Title:
Pharmacist, McCook’s Pharmacy
Bio:
Kristen, 37, has worked at McCook’s Pharmacy for 14 years as a pharmacist. A Baxley native, she attended Georgia Southern University and went on to complete her studies at South University School of Pharmacy in 2011, earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. She also attends First Baptist Church in Statesboro, where she sings in the choir. She’s an active member of the Statesboro Service League, where she enjoys volunteering in the community.

Morgan Conner
Title:
Director of Public Relations and Advancement, Bulloch Academy
Bio:
Morgan Conner, 32, moved to Statesboro in 2012 to attend Georgia Southern University. After graduating, she began her career at Bulloch Academy in 2016 as the Director of Public Relations and Advancement. Since then, she has grown the school’s involvement with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program. She now serves on the Georgia GOAL Advisory Committee, helping provide Georgia children with greater opportunities for access to learning. Conner is married to Statesboro local James Conner and has two children, Layne and Casen. She is an active member at Connection Church in Statesboro, where she and her husband serve in kids’ ministry and lead adult small groups.

Jackson Cook

Bio:
Jackson Cook, 26, grew up in Fitzgerald, Ga., where he graduated from Tiftarea Academy before coming to Georgia Southern. He chose to remain in Statesboro after earning his degree in finance from Georgia Southern, drawn by the sense of community and opportunities the town offered. He is proud to be involved in the local community through his work with the Community Investment Committee for Bulloch County, where he strives to make a positive impact on the region.

Lindsay Gribble

Chief of Staff, Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Office
Bio:
Lindsay Gribble, 30, serves as the Chief of Staff for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office and is an Expert Contributor in Public Administration for SnorkelAI. She earned an undergraduate degree in marketing and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia Southern. She’s also served in numerous roles at Georgia Southern as an academic advisor, success coach, and adjunct political science instructor. She is a member at First Presbyterian Church in Statesboro, where she also serves as an Elder. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, attending concerts, comedy shows and theatre and cheering on the New Orleans Saints.

Bryce Haupt

Owner, American Roofing
Bio:
Bryce Haupt, 34, originally of McDonough, Ga., moved to Statesboro in 2015 to attend Georgia Southern after serving four years in the Marine Corps. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, but went on to work as a project manager for a local roofing company. In 2022, he became the owner of American Roofing, leveraging the discipline, teamwork and resilience he learned in the Marines to build a strong business. Bryce is dedicated to supporting veterans, particularly in mental health and suicide prevention.

Dustin Herb

Owner, Herb’s Bare Necessities
Bio:
Dustin Herb, 32, is the owner of Herb’s Bare Necessities, a local soap store. Born and raised in Statesboro, he graduated from Statesboro High School and later attended both East Georgia State College and Georgia Southern University. Now he, his wife Emily and his family all work together to support their business.

Anna Lee
Title:
Owner, Dish And Lily
Bio:
A Bulloch County native, Anna Lee, 27, attended Georgia Southern, graduating in 2020 with a degree in business management. Her lifelong love for all things fashion and wardrobe creativity, led her to open Dish & Lily in June 2022, with plans to dress the Boro in “work to weekend” style! Anna is a member of the Statesboro Service League, Connection Church, and is an alumnus of Kappa Delta. She enjoys the growing yet small town feel of Statesboro with her husband, Win and their English cocker spaniel, Hook.

Tiffany Manning

English Instructor, Ogeechee Technical College
Bio:
Tiffany Manning, 36, is an English Instructor at Ogeechee Technical College. Originally from Jesup, she moved to Statesboro in 2008 to begin her higher education journey at Georgia Southern University, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, becoming a proud Double Eagle. She is passionate about helping students develop strong communication and writing skills that will serve them in their careers and beyond. She also serves on advisory committees for Georgia’s Milestones ELA assessments, as well as working to develop international learning opportunities as a faculty advisor for the Germany/Ogeechee Tech Student Exchange Program.
