Jennifer Lewis is the Principal of Metter Elementary School in the Candler County School District, where she provides instructional leadership focused on student achievement, school culture, and community engagement.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Teaching Field–English (2008) and a Master of Science in Counselor’s Education (2010), both from Georgia Southern University. She was recognized as part of Georgia Southern’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023 and was named Candler County Teacher of the Year in 2015, reflecting her longstanding commitment to excellence in education.
In addition to her professional leadership in K–12 education, Jennifer remains deeply engaged with Georgia Southern University through multiple service roles. She currently serves on the Bulloch County Alumni Chapter Leadership Team, where she supports local alumni engagement efforts and regional programming. She also serves as the Chapter Advisor for Alpha Delta Pi, one of the largest sororities at Georgia Southern, where she mentors student leaders and supports chapter development, engagement, and success.
Through her combined experience in educational leadership, alumni engagement, and student mentorship, Jennifer brings a strong commitment to advancing the mission of Georgia Southern University and strengthening connections between alumni, students, and the broader community.
