A native of Eufaula, Alabama, LTC Victoria Parrish-Edwards was awarded a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship to attend Georgia Southern University. While in attendance, she was commissioned as an Officer through the University’s ROTC program. LTC Parrish-Edwards has served 18 years in the Army and been in service to the nation’s great leaders at every level.
She graduated from the Adjutant General Officer Basic Course in 2007. After graduation, she served as a Battalion Adjutant/S1 of the 2/347 th TSBn 157 Infantry Brigade. She later served as the Battalion Adjutant/S1 for the Baton Rouge Recruiting Battalion. Upon PCSing LTC Parrish- Edwards volunteered for a deployment to Afghanistan with the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command where she served as the Protocol Officer in Charge, and EPS Officer in Charge and Strength Management Officer in Charge. She recently graduated from resident CGSC at Fort Leavenworth, KS. She recently finished serving as the Group S1 at the Asymmetric Warfare Group at Ft. Meade, MD. Most recently she completed a Joint tour and completed JPME II course as the Sustainment Planner within the Joint Chief of Staff, J7. Most recently she completed the CGSC Interagency Fellowship with the Department of Transportation in Summer of 2024. She is currently serving as
the Special Assistant to the Director of the Army Staff at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
LTC Parrish-Edwards attended the Brigade S1 Operations Course, and Adjutant General Captains Career course at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health with a minor in Military Science. In 2009, LTC Parrish- Edwards obtained her Masters of Administration degree in Health Services Administration. She recently completed her PhD in Heatlh Sciences with an emphasis in Health Policy and Administration.
Her military awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (two Oak leaf cluster), Army Commendation Medal (three oak leaf clusters), Army Achievement Medal (two oak leaf clusters), and Meritorious Unit citation Medal, NATO defense Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Reserve Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Global war on Terror Service/Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Meritorious Volunteer Medal of Service. She is married to Phillip Edwards and has two Children Peyton and Imani Edwards.
